This one is a bit of a movable feast,  I sing wherever someone wants my kind of music. What is my kind of music ?

If you''ve read the "About Me" page you will know my heart is in folk music ,  as well as attending Folk fesivals & clubs  I do confess to being quite at home with some Easy Listening which finds me doing gigs for art exhibtions where I am very happy just to sing whilst people are browsing also selective pub work Bistro''s & more recently some coffee bars which has been good fun.

Music styles at these venues  cover both my own songs and those from the ever green  & wonderful Joan Baez , Suzanne Vega,Nancy Griffiths, Eva Cassidy,Paul Simon to name but a few.

I have written songs for local radio my own song Three Times Three ,the story of John Babbacombe Lee was used to run with Elelanor Fosseys version of the tale of John Lee the true story of the man they could not hang. I am also available as a session musician for harmony work.

From March 2010 I am teaming up with Mike Weed and we aill be available for a variety of gigs from clubs/selected pubs/ or your own private party/wedding or function. Mike plays bass guitar & a dazzling array of whistles/harmonica etc .he is a consumate professional & a joy to work with. But dont take my word for it come & see !. www.maggieandmike.co.uk
